Redlunar I save all those notes and pack them with the Christmas ornaments so when I am putting up the tree there are surprises for me to read. Your tip on saving for them to read as adults is great!

loan-lady,
what a fine tradition! I loved it when my son still believed in Santa Claus. He would write a letter, every year to Santa and Rudolf and leave it by the fireplace. I've managed to save some of the letters so that he will have them for his reading pleasure as an adult. You are building strong memories with the children in your life -- what a special ritual....

I never believed in Santa Claus,
but I enjoyed Christmas a lot when our children were young. And I'd love to find some cookies that have no butter, no sugar, and no flour!

symphony I feel that the Santa myth is a fun childhood dream. I remember the first year I didn't believe and there was a sadness in the fun. I do still believe a little.

roofy we had fun and made a big old mess I stayed up late cleaning. The smell of sugar and the sound of them laughing when they discover that rainbow colored mixed up icing turns khaki but still tastes great
