How funny! You have an excellent memory for details ! When I try to dredge up childhood memories, although they are strong memories....to try to capture them in print is very hard to do. You have done a wonderful job....and created such a marvellous picture in my mind! Now,from the descriptions you have given of your parents, I am sure they would have seen the funny side? In fact your mum probably popped on her reindeer ears and invited you all in for a glass of lemonade from the 'refridge'!
