Still Waiting
Though the doctors are now saying that it will be tonight or tomorrow, though they think that she won't last the night. I am headed out in the morning early.

This is such a sad thing to hear.
Yes, truely this affects everyone. Maybe they just didn't want to accept this? I know if I were married, I would have a hard time accepting it if he were dying. Putting off arrangements may just be a form of denial???

So sad...
It's been two years now... My husbands grandmother went into the hospital for a broken hip...while they were doing the x-rays they discovered that she had cancer of the "everywhere". She died two weeks later...thankfully it was a short period of suffering. We were glad to see her pass in a sense...her suffering was over...but so sad to have her gone...
