Yes.. it has been long.. I am trying to get things settled at work.. Now I have more responsibilities, it's hard but I am trying to keep up hehe.. thanks!!!

I use a little black book to write my thoughts, ideas, etc.

You can buy one of the "moleskine" books at Barnes and Noble and many other bookstores for about $10. They are handy. I love mine. I fill one up about every 3 months.

Apart from odd places to jot...

notebooks, napkins, scraps of paper and such, you could use a file in MS word in which you post random thoughts.

I do try to jot down but .. for the life of this damned ( insert name here) I can't remember to do it when I'm at my best.. hehe  I am just cracked by Davids post .. haha!

and it seems to take longer than ever. Perhaps you should have a little tape player and voice these thoughts

At least you write it down to act on it. I try to keep good ideas in my mind until I can remember to write them down. By then I have forgotten what I wanted to write about and waste hours sitting at my desk trying to remember.

You are like many others. You have a writers mind, but not the discipline. Beating yourself up doesn't help. I know because I tried that too!  It really doesn't seem to work.
