I wish you blessings with that instead. I remember med school, loads of fun, I was a regular at autopsies too, although not required, but very good for learning.

People are picking on people or was that picking noses...
I have been reading so many of your blogs today, I think I am getting them all mixed up.  Lazy asses and Meanie Housewives?  Does that sound familiar?  Great post as usual ISN.

Hehehe, Norseman,
no, I thought you had fallen off the earth though. you hadn't posted in like 2 days. I can't sustain such large spans on alfless time.

ISN...I am offended by your use of the word "pee ers." What kind of

person are you???You know I'm jokin, good post.  I don't get it either, maybe cause I'm still new but still??  The only way my feelings could get hurt on blogit is if 20 people all got together and begged me to stop writing because I sucked so incredibly bad.  Other than that I don't get why anybody here gets emotionally responsive to anothers opinion.  For one thing, if you want a chance of changing the other persons opinion coming at him with guns blazing is no way to get it done.  Speaking of which, you have stopped reading me havn't you?  I knew it!  It's the age thing isn't it?

good luck in med school! Which one and what field are you going in to?

IsSanityNear, I took one Public School Law class and loved the hell out of

it. I found it fascinating the way courts would decide -- even the Supreme Court -- the way they wanted, kind of so what, kiss my patoot, we're the Supreme Court.  So, that attitude passes on to lawyers who charge unreasonable rates to the poor, sue anyone they can think of regardless of the collective damage done to thenational economy, then run one of their ilk for president.  Please!!!  I do not have much respect for the practice of law.  Too many lawyers.  My father was a federal judge, a lawyer in a small town in Iowa, and an enforcement attorney for the OPA during WW2, the big one.  He was the only honest lawyer I ever knew.  He belonged on "Gunsmoke".

I can only hope
that my little Blog isn't the "big public fuss" you speak of. I don't think I'd like to be all that,  I understand what you mean, about everyone posting about how everyone needs to stop being mean would solve nothing, I just like making everyone giggle now and then. I'm sure this too will pass :)

IMHO, It is the opposite. I think that some who like to stir the pot will be deterred by the higher charges. they can do it cheaper elsewhere

I appreciate the sentiment of your post, I truly do and I agree.
I am only saying that it is does not seem very health for so much controversy to be stirred up particularly when readers are in the dark about why these things are being posted. To my mind making a big public fuss is the last resort.

It's different people doing different things each day Beachie.
It seems at least to me that it's an overall mentality now. Personally, I think the new sub prices changed the overall tone of the place. That would be rational in my thinking. People that pay more, expect more, and just plain take more for granted. JMHO!

My post was not meant to "lecture" on the practice of picking on Bloggers, it was more an homage to my love for this forum- and another way to make myself laugh at the mystery that is cat lovers...

beachbelle-

I had no specific "meanies and asses" in mind; I know only that a number of writers were expressing a desire to leave Blogit or retaliate for what adds up to harassment in the "real world"... this was my light-hearted way of bringing it all back down to readers and writers - not protagonists and antagonists. We're all here. That should be enough. I hope that clarifies...

It just seems to me that if people are behaving so rudely
that it doesn't help to have post after post about it. If it is that bad things should be dealt with properly.
I have had my share of attacks here. It is far more civil here than it used to be.

IS stepped in and said exactly what I meant, Beach.

I mean we keep hearing about these folks
but are there many, or does it only relate to one recent spat?
I am just trying to figure out who "they" are and what "they" have done then I can judge for myself how rude it is. If someone is behaving in a way which is detrimental to the community they should be reported or contacted by the individual concerned.

Way to go ISN

Couldn't have said it better myself, Great Blog.

Yes there's far too many bloggers pointing far too many fingers at everyone else. This should be a place where you can pour your little heart out and just write till you drop. A place where writers help each other, A place to just have fun doing what you like to do.

Hey by the way, If I get any cases in "The Bloggers Court" I might be looking for a lawyer.

Doesn't pay much but it could be fun.

ISN, I didn't know you were in law school. Are you having fun?
I think Ariala is doing a wonderful job writing and responding to everyone.  She is putting herself at considerable risk here, and I feel for her sometimes more vulnerable days.  However, she could be doing this in a larger forum, and she may someday.  But none of us want to be the cause of her moving on. We all love her, whether we want to admit it or not.  Thanks for writing in the midst of your busy day!
