my stepdaughter loves to eat green bell peppers raw -- sometimes she used to cut off a half of one first thing in the morning -- sheesh

westwend, I am allergic to green and red bell peppers. I finally stopped
using them in my cooking and have a happier stomach as a result.
The chili will be pure then!

actually it's not onions
it's bell peppers that do it most.
so if you do onions you're safe
and if you don't do bell peppers then the chili is pure.
and very safe.
