Be Careful

Sometimes it's best not to divulge a lot to your boss or coworkers.  If your company has any sort of mental health counseling I recommend you take advantage of that and keep your sessions private.  That's my advice but I don't know your situation personally.  I wish you luck.

Yeah, I've let plenty of things build up to the point of exploding before, mainly because I'm just not good at dealing with people sometimes. It's frustrating, but I'm always trying to get better at it.

You're not supposed to tell everyone, but there has to be someone. It's cliche, but keeping it bottled up inside will only cause it to fester and rot, becoming even worse than it already it.

Klara
That is one of the things that somewhat holds me back, but the company I work for is more like a family that anywhere else I've worked. My boss is someone who if he knew, it wouldn't bother me. And I kind of need him to understand, so that he knows why my work has been suffering lately.

UH, trust your instincts there. Maybe it's not something he should know.
Not everyone is entitled to know about our lives. It's like that for everyone.

Don't I know it
You're so right Rachel, my only problem is that I literally cannot stop thinking about something when I start. When I'm thinking about something that worries me, it becomes impossible for me to change the subject of my thoughts. It's kind of a bummer, to say the least.

Just don't concentrate on not being able to concentrate...
And maybe things will turn around.  If you convince yourself you can't concentrate all is lost.  :)
