I like verse 24 -- where it says if it were possible they whall deceive the very elect. or verse 11 -- many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many.

then there's the abomination of desolation.

a lot there -- I think ol' Bushy's pretty desolate, myself.

West, the Bush = Antichrist thing can be found in Matthew 24 (don't remember the exact verse numbers, but I know you'll know it when you see it).  As for the Revelation one, I'll have to go back and find that verse again.  I can't recall it off the top of my head.

The problem I have with prophecies - biblical or whatever - is that most of them are written so vaguely that you can fit whatever facts you want into the puzzle later on.  It's like reading horoscopes - you could read something that says, "You will come into money today" and then find a penny in your pocket and go, "Hey, it was true!"

Why can't prophecies be straight to the point?  "Look, this is God here.  I'm sending my son down there - that's right, my son, who incidentally will be named Jesus - and he's going to perform a whole ton of crazy miracles.  Just listen to him, okay?  Oh, by the way, tomorrow's lucky numbers are 13, 42, and 86."
