Right you are.
Still, I think I need to go back and hit the grammar books again. Sigh.

I admire anyone who gives their work all they have.....and writers that I read do that. Writers are special, but so are teachers, construction workers, nurses.....;)

You have been gone for the longest time. I think that the lifestyle is regarded as more glamorous than it ever was although it has its moments

Very good piece
Even when you are in a job that others might envy, there is still a price to be paid. I am happy to be returning to laying down lines here once again, and have learned that my dream world was not what I expected.

The people who amaze me are those writers who keep up at this pace year after year. Of course they have their methods and tricks but there are some who turn out excellence every time. There are a handful of people lie that I am in awe of. They inspire me to try harder although I recognize they have a rare gift

You are completely right with this, thanks for the info! As you said, writing is a business, like any other. Take care!

I don’t mind trying to fill in holes . . .
As long as I have a reason to fill it. Some holes are best left unfilled, especially those holes found in human anatomy.
Interesting. We all do write for a reason, don’t we? They might be different reasons – but they’re there just the same.

Awesome, Bella. And so bang on.
Writing has allowed me to become skilled in so many ways than just putting word to paper. But it required a lot of focused effort on my part, too.

Thank you. I wrote the original version of this "The Upsides Of Working In A Factory (edited) " on Dec 3, 2003 as I worked in what I called "the factory". I noted that only one of the original commenters remains so thought I could find a new market today.

Very informative. I don't write professionally as many on here do, but I might try to do something someday and it helps to have an inside view. Thank you!

One of your best posts, Beachie! We're currently churning out ten pieces
at once here due today. Owning any business (and writing is a business), entails trading one "boss" for another. Your clients in effect, become your "boss" (only now there are more of them)!!!! Again, your best in my opinion.
