I would turn an article on its head to fit in such a line.

McNab. I wondered it might be too cute. Vainly,
I admit that was the line I wanted someone to spot.

'Within words dashed off are life's truths.' That remark of yours is being printed and pasted onto my computer. Thank you beachbelle.

No, it isn't...
The important thing is to do something, anything rather than not knowing what I could have achieved had I tried.

Any work might bomb or it might be a runaway success - that is not the point is it?

That would take some courage BB,
but I supppose the worse thing that could happen is that the work bombs. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

That is true but sometimes when we come we don't use them as much as we would. I am not sure I want to give the author more publicity. He is a publicity whore.

MerryAnne, Justsouno. What a buzz to receive those comments!
Though of course we should not only say what people think and don't say but what they don't think and don't say. Whatever - we should just say it

Yep. There are days when the words come easily, other days that they stubbornly remain locked away. BTW, what is the novel?

This was actually just what I needed to hear.
Thank you. Sometimes we suffer too much from paralysis by analysis. Thanks for clearing the cobwebs, my friend.

I love this blog Beach!
Everyday it's something to make me think. I don't always agree, but I love to read it. You are right about this topic of course, and as writers we have to try and reach our audience. Partly by saying things they might think, but might not say.

Yes, it makes a lot of sense. I tend to worry too much, and censor myself a lot. Except in the morning when I'm terribly sleep deprived and silly. Ah, but then there are some that tell me to go to bed. And I do.
Seriously, you've made an excellent point.

Absolute sense, Beachie! I have the opposite problem. I spend very little
time, "wondering and pondering" when sometimes a little more time spent thinking of long term consequences would be more prudent! If I "think" it, I usually write it, and if I write it, I will sell it, if I can, again, sometimes too quickly!
