we had stairs when taylor was starting to walk and he took a few tumbles down them; no lasting damage so far! Other than my heart attacks..

LOL!
Emily walked much earlier than Rachel. I suspect that there was more then a little self-defence involved with that. Now when things get a bit stressful for her she bolts for the stairs and tries to go up. Lowers her stress levels - but raises mine!!!
