Maybe I should write letters and "post" them more often

I would love to tell you this post sucks. But that would be a lie.

BB, I think the thing with you is that you care too much about everything.
This isn't a bad trait, but it can be draining on you as a person. My problem is that I care too little, and this too, has its down side, as you can well imagine. So, whether in writing, creating, or living life, the challenge is to find balance between these two extremes...in that journey we discover new truths about ourselves and our craft. Hence, we can share them here.
Like you, I enjoy the interraction and comments I receive on Blogit. Without them, it would not be as enjoyable!
Great post!

Of course it is important to have criticism from peers but as writers it is fitting to receive criticism from readers too. Peers understand the brief best and no if you have met the requirements but readers can often identify subtlties In other words no one should wait until they feel qualified. I strongly believe that. Recently I did receive one criticim from a blogger to say that in the past my posts had been too "intellectual" but were improving. That was helpful.

Maybe some of your posts are not good, I am not qualified to say. This one certainly is good because whomever Bloger X is you have been able to reach them and the rest of us in a broad impersonal but caring manner without divulging any source. As I read it I think this is open and disconnected yet personal and aloof simultaneously. One day I want to be good enough to tell you one of your posts stinks!
