Don't be silly!
We have no time for such trivialities, I spend my time teaching Alex how to make it look like I vacuumed when I really didn't. Oh! And how to look really harried so you can go out to dinner instead of cooking. Taylor is learning to pee standing up, which, I think, is remarkable. Busy busy busy.

ISN...It's OK.....as I used
to tell my girl cousins that were related  by marriage only..."it's alright because we aren't blood relatives."

A_Norseman

(I feel so formal using your full name, lol) Thanks for coming by and sharing, you can pick up the resident psychiatrist's card on the way out. Good day :) BTW- did you hear about you and I ? Tapsel-T adopted you... I adopted Tapsel-T as my Blogit-mom... we are brother and sister! This should make way for all kinds of wacky dreams on my side :)

ISN...
Your post cracked me up as usual.  very funny.  I don't hear a soundtrack...As you may suspect I make up about 6 songs a day to fit my circumstances though some of them are to the tune of regular songs.  Most of my songs are about my dog because she is the only one that listens.  For example:  "she's all rabits and squirrels,  ooh what a girl!  Teeth that sparkle and shine....she is four...she's Adrienne, and she's mine."  To the tune of She's sixteen by Niel Sedaka.  Sick huh?  I am in need of therapy.

Very funny, ISN!

Kids make a person hear and see things that are not actually there...spooky-ooky!

LOL ISN!

LOL I know exactly what you mean. I always have songs running through my head....in fact I sometimes burst spontaneously into song! The high ceilings here have wonderful acoustics and in my head I sound much better than the winner of Australian Idol....that is until Oscar-the-dog starts to howl in unison! Or protest maybe?

What I hate about songs in my head is that sometimes it will be the most annoying song in the world which decides to take up sole residence in that large space between my ears. Try getting rid of "I Like Aeroplane Jelly!" (Don't know if you know that song....but if you do....bet you can't stop it from playing ALL day now!!) or that macarena song to which I don't even know the words but which Halle has assured me are:
"I said a hey, ha, hey a honey and a boogie and a wee wee with me" repeat.

Just the mention of these songs will do the trick and thanks to this comment I will now leave to get the kid's breakfast as I pour cereal in time to the macarena! Thanks!

I used to think of it as noise...
now I kind of depend on it for my mood. Lol.

There's always some song running in the background in my head. It varies from situation to situation and depending on my mood, but there's always something.

I don't necessarily have a soundtrack, but I have my mind's MP3 player set on shuffle most of the time.
