I tend to agree with you, Fabulous
i don't believe that we find the idea of Mary's perpetual virginity ANYWHERE in scripture, but scripture does seem to say that she was a virgin at the time of Yeshua's conception. Where it gets rough is that there is a principle in the scripture that says "By the mouth of two or three witnesses a matter shall be established". Where were the witnesses that can prove her virginity?? because witnesses are mysteriously missing, i wouldn't make the idea of her virginity into dogma.

Jesus said, "The truth shall set you free." The truth is, according to my knowledge of the facts, that this particular son of David was brought forth by a virgin. She was innocent at conception.

I am a Christian, Wannabe, and your posts get me to thinking, and keep me
thinking. You explore things thoroughly without being judgmental in the exploration, which is what many miss. Great thoughts and great writing. You're unique also on here, and this alone makes it a great read always.
