ISN; yeah, I'll vouch for him,
unless he misbehaves, then it'll be "E6 who?"

Well said e6airforce.
:) I am honored to see you in these parts. You're welcome anytime (the principle of "A friend of unicorn is a friend of mine...").

What isn't getting expensive,

and what I hate is the more it cost, the more they like it. Try to get them to do something that doesn't cost an gizzard, liver, or jugular and they want nothing to do with it.

If it aint expensive then it aint fun.

Luckily we were the only ones in the arcade so it wasn't awful; pizza is getting expensive!!

That's why we forego the pizza/arcade places and get the cheap stuff from Little Ceasars, the $5.00 pizza may not taste much better but at least your only out $5 and haven't been subjected to the screaming, whining, eardrum blasting arcade episode, which is worse if my son goes too!
Or we make our own pizza at home, which it a big adventure in itself.

I also just HAVE to get a receipt at the ATM...it is oddly satisfying to see that little white slip of paper sliding out, just to let you know you have 5cents in your account! faxes are fun too....though I am so impatient to see what they say that I have to sit on my hands so that I don't just rip it out before it's had a chance to finish printing!

My dear lady, you are hilarious in your comments-that-are-really-blogs. :) I hate those arcade places, but it is oddly satisfying to get some paper out of a machine... I like faxes too. lol

You channeled me?

I don't know about the pizza...all pizza's taste like cardboard to me unless they are made on the premises by an authentic Italian who throws the dough up in the air and it doesn't stick on the ceiling.

I DO know about those games arcades though. My children, in a rare moment of unity, decided to combine ALL their tickets, without even squabbling the correct percentages of who had contributed what portion. They confidently headed up to the prize cabinet...tickets trailing from their hands and pockets....throwing smug glances towards other ticketly-challenged children who grasped only a short stack. They triumphantly placed their haul into those weighing/sorting/counting whatever-they-do machines and whilst waiting for the verdict, set about arguing over the giant panda bear or the laser gun complete with zinging, blinging, whooop-whooop action sounds and lights. Halle fancied a porcelain doll who was crying out for a good going over with the duster.

In a bored monotone the young rip-off-merchant behind the counter mumbled....You have 320 points. "Yippee!!" the tribe shouted, jumping up and down in glee. The monotone continued with a sort of "Wheel Of Fortune" sweeping gesture at the row of prizes available for 320 points. There was unlimited choice!! 2 lollipops...OR....an eraser shaped like an ice-cream...or a little foam plane (you could get 2 of those!)....a bouncing ball (1 each if they wished!!)....a mars bar (easy to divide into 4)...some hair elastics...and various wrapped lollies which were 50 points each. The previous unity displayed by my children rapidly broke down into a huge brou-ha-ha with much gesticulating, yelling, pushing and general bad temper...followed by the percentage breakdown thanks to my eldest son as to who actually got more than everyone else. Decisions were made, then changed, then made again. Throughout the young man maintained his bored facade and we eventually left after spending $50 on the games to get the tickets...with a handful of lollies and a balloon! VALUE!! Video Game  Pinball  Tickets  Lollipop

It reminded me of Johnny Cash for a second there, the "su", just needed the 'e'.

sadly, I think we are both right.... and my mother just recently figured out I don't like fruitcake - I didn't think anyone liked it!

Well, Merryanne, you have me stumped...
I must admit, I never thought to eat the kazoo....I thought it may serve as entertainment for the oompah loompahs.. but never food...

posted by IsSanityNear on November 23, 2004 at 3:42 PM | link to this | reply

now see, I thought I was the only one who thought
that the pizza tasted vaguely familiar. I had my sneaking suspicions that it was the identical same pizza from 25 plus years ago that we had in my cafeteria.
I think it's like fruitcake. There is really only one fruitcake in the whole world, it just has been passed around for the last 100 years.
But hey, think of all you can do with the kazoo! Like stick it up someones whazoo and then they'll have a kazoo whazoo! Whoever invented those pizza joints would be a good candidate for that!

Maybe the kazoo will
give you the added nutrition you require?
