attax, one asshole's comments do not liberal Democratic policy make,
nor do they define the entire group. If it offends you to have African Americans bunched together as one person, it offends me to have all liberals bunched together, especially when you choose one asshole to define us. We are all world of individuals.
I do not embrace the cause of minority citizens in this nation because I feel sorry for them nor because I think them inferior. I embrace the cause of minority citizens because once upon a time each arriving immigrant group of us was either hated or discriminated against and we should all know how that feels by now and should help each other out in times of trouble, as good neighbors do in this world.
Liberal policies may err in their implementation, but their motives are not pity nor feelings of superiority. You don't know me nor my friends and colleagues and I say that you are wrong about those that I know. They are decent people trying to help make life decent for all citizens. I personally think that decent, well paying jobs and better educational institutions would just about make everything right in America, for all of us.
You take one man's mouth and make him an example of all white people , all those who are not conservative. I could twist that logic right around one black man's mouth and say that he represents you and your friends and colleagues and your and their beliefs. If I chose Senor Bill Cosby that would really set you off.
