LOL Merry-
It is being transmitted via the mouse? Oh dear, and I thought it was the children... lol. Mouse washing is a safety precaution we must all get in the habit of!

I don't think you are ever too old
for the couch nest! I still nest up at night and make my husband give me ginger ale when I'm sick...

BTW I did try and disinfect my mouse - just in case. ;)

I wonder, merryanne,

how old is too old to live in the couch nest? hehe Your children may not be at fault, but I have my suspicions. :)

It's not my fault!!!!
the girls didn't have a fever - our germs were more polite than that! LOL! I think my kids are too young for the couch nest yet. They want to play no matter how bad they feel.

ISN
You're very lucky. My son is eleven and still doesn't sleep through the night. He gets up every night just to make sure that I'm there. I guess it's because I'm a cop and he's scared that something may happen to me, but he does it every night.

IsSanityNear...Hooray!!
Yippee. I can remember sooo very clearly the first time all of my children slept through the night. It was such an uplifting experience. The trick was to prevent it being a one-off performance. I usually had to wait several more years for an encore....ahhh well!! I too remember feeling so warm and loved when I was sick...but as you say, with the fast pace of life today...there's just no time to sit down and luxuriate in feeling sick...and that goes for children, toddlers and babies too! We all must 'soldier on'....unless of course you are a man! Now THAT is another tale all together!!  Sick In Bed
