I reckon there might be a few takers here. People love it when they know the artist.

decshak, I also have to remember how to post pictures, I've already

forgotten how to do it from about six or eight posts ago!!! No memory, no brain, like I told you on your post. Have to go see the Wizard of Oz and request a replacement, methinks.

Yes, I use terra cotta clay, fire the pieces at cone 06 and then hand paint them with matte acrylics and bisque stains.  Let me go to those old posts and reread the HTML that I used and put up some little angels, no?

I need to marry a computer nerd who has some time on his hands.....but, I think, can't remember, if I ever divorced that last husband from decades ago, I think that I never did......just handed him a plane ticket. So, can't marry a nerd, ratz, sigh.............

Wiley, I love to see the word Abuleita in my comments box, it means

that you have stopped to read and to write something. It reminds me, with its affectionate mispelling, of my youngest granddaughter who called me Arbolita (little tree) for one year. My youngest grandson calls me Ah-EE-tah cause he can't get his tongue around the rest as yet. Abuleita sounds a little Arabic to me, so I'll pretend that it means grandmother only in Blogit land, with an Arabic twist.

Please don't see this as a correction of your spelling, I DO like to see this word, this way in my comments...I do. And thanks, Wiley. I make little angels and nativity scenes and big figurines of saints and storytellers and just about anything really. Terra cotta (red) clay and then handpainted, not glazed. The small angels start at  $14 each and they are large ornament sized, from 5 1//2 to 7+ inches long. Some stand also or recline and some just plain sleep. My saints are usually around $140 and they are about 11 or 12 inches tall or so.  Then I make elaborate nativity scenes, the two that I have in house now are very large and  cost $650 , if I ever finish painting them.

No online store, but a cd rom catalogue, poorly done, crashing computer and all that...that I could snail mail to you if you emailed me your address on land or sea!!

How's your stress doing wileyman? Worried about you from your last post. Must be the darned season and we just haven't recognized that as yet, huh? The holidays have always gotten me down, depressive personality and all that, so I sing and dance more to fight it, but had forgotten what darned season it was, just making clay....I'm so stressed. Don't you call your gas company,  to complain, etc. let me do it and release some steam in your cause! Get the old heart pumping again...yeah!! What's their number??!?!?

Well gee, little lady. DO you have an online store?
You could sell Christmas ornaments made from plaster for >>>> sake!  Shipping costs are high, but we'd all buy some.  Do you fire your clay?  Do you paint it?  These days you can buy a kit to make a website to sell your wares....  I know that the Chinese are undercutting everybody here in America, so you'll have lots of company this winter, in your poverty...  I was underbid by Thialand for making rubber stamp designs.  That's right!  I made some angels for rubber stamp designs!  I should post them to see whether you can use them!  They came from old pictures that are beyond copywrite considerations and I got permission from the lady who owns the rubber stamp store to display the designs, myself.  As long as you were not making rubber stamps out of them I don't see how she would feel we were stealing anything from her....  I'll have to figure out how to post pictures....

maj, can you tell that I was a leeeeetle bit depressed this a.m.?
It showed, huh? I shall hide it better because who wants to read whiney posts like this?? Yup, time to change the blog page. Think UP, Abuelita, UP, then write. Okay, I will. Thanks for the laugh, maj. You always lift me up when I read you. Even when you are sparse with words. What a writer!

Thank you for reminding me about the important things to worry about. May this winter see a great surge in orders for you, and some comfort!
