Re: Thanks
mariposa75, thanks for reading and commenting. It is true, the subject is extremely complicated and each person's story is unique.

I tell everyone that if people could make better money or SOME money in Mexico, that they would stay there and not come up here.

Mexicans prefer to live in Mexico as it is a kinder, gentler and sweeter place in so many ways.

It is just too poor to sustain life for some families and they sacrifice a person to America, hoping to save the family.

Thanks

I will want to read it again also.  We are Americans, and usually live in Sonora.  Some of our friends went illigal (before they made it harder), Some made it, but it did not go well with them.  One young man had a very bad job, had to live in a car and ate at Jack in the Box.  He finally got tired of it and went back to Mexico, where he is living now and content.

A complicated subject.

justsouno, thanks for reading this very long post. Thanks for commenting,
too. I tried to put it all into one post, for those who might want to know who is helping and what anyone else can do to help out, either with legislation, money or personal time....again, thanks.

ca88andra, I know that this post is too long, but, but, but......

I had kept my opinionated mouth shut on Blogit for so long that too many words had to fall out in these first posts. Sorry.

Your old ranting, hippie Abuelita..........thanks for trying to read it.....maybe a cup of tea would help you to stay here a little longer. Thanks so much for commenting. It means that one person has read me and I am not writing alone in the desert, where only the coyotes and pollos abide.
