LOL

I've never gotten through a whole workout either.  I can't stretch completely, I'm so NOT agile.  I do like the punching moves, however!  I think they do wonders for the obliques!

So, here's my thoughts.....Just dance for thirty minutes and then incorporate those punching moves.  Excellent work out!  LOL  I'm serious!

the infomercials themselves are exhausting... I will try to get through the whole one next time :)

Sanity - I watch those infomercials all the way through and then feel like
I have done enough and go back to blogging.

LOL ISN - I still have my Fonda workout tapes - and the ones by the bald
lady - I don't understand why I am not more in shape. They've been in my video cupboard for years. Worthless they are.

Aaaah The Wiggles!
It's several years now since my children were into the Wiggles....but they've all been there driving their Big Red Cars and doing the Hot Potato/Mashed Banana/Cold Spaghetti. I used to get a lot of exercise when the kids liked the Wiggles....not only was there the inevitable dancing in the lounge room while they were on TV....but there was the long walk to the school halls because there were no carparks close by, which we managed with prams and Dorothy The Dinosaur tails waving and Captain Feathersword Swords swishing. We then queued patiently with hundreds of other mothers and toddlers, all trying to distract our children from the merchandise on sale just outside the hall....the sale of which would build each Wiggle another new house! We then entered the "concert", usually in our local school hall, where the REAL action would begin. Hundreds of squealing toddlers shouting for Dorothy and hundreds of squealing mothers shouting for Anthony...The Blue Wiggle. Of course...to look like a great Mum...you had to join in with all those dance moves and sing along...each Mum trying to secretly show Anthony that we know all the words to all the songs just in case he happened to glance our way. Those were the days!! The last time I tried to book into a Wiggles concert which used to cost us $5 a ticket.....it was going to cost over $250 and that was for the back row of a HUGE entertainment complex. Oh well....back to the Pilates tape that my husband bought for my birthday 2 years ago, which is still unopened in the cupboard behind the bike he bought for my birthday 5 years ago which remains unridden and beside the new "walking shoes" I bought to inspire myself 18 months ago which are still in the box!! Fat Woman 3

Oh, how I can relate.  I used to do Tae-bo and I took them out again last year and tried to do them.  Hell no. I thought I was going to die.  I had been doing "The Firm" for two months which is known as one of the toughest work outs for at home use, and could do that fairly comfortably.  Not Tae-bo.  Billy Blanks is a freak.

Although, I can usually get through the eight minute video without killing myself.  But, I can only do it once every six months or so--any more is a strain on my was-once-an-ass...

loan lady-
I accept your offer of work out tapes; when you need them back they will be buried behind my house with my maternity clothes. Gracias por la Espanol. I tried just yelling, "Move Fatty!", it was met with aisle rage...

Moverse tus posaderas ( I think) or you can add in the gordo/a posaderas, you would be using the familiar tu/tus rather than vuestro the formal of course....

Very funny post.  Why is it that people who go to Wallmart all walk slow and stand in the middle of the row even when they are in the parking lot? I wish Wallmart would disclose how many people are killed by road raged people leaving Wallmart. I got some Tae Bo tapes HipHop tapes and kickboxing videos to send you to collect dust

ISN...

Very funny and well told as usual.  I "knew" one of the gals on the Tae Bo tapes.  We used to work out together, but like you, I never got through the assisted stretching.  (my stretching had to be assisted because I am the most inflexible person alive.)  So wiggles away!
