Well, here's what I think:
Some People Have Been Lied to About HELL.
It's actually very simple... really.
Heaven is where you think you are when you make others happy and you get rewarded for being good.
Hell is where you know you are when you've been bad and made others unhappy.
That is why it's so important for men to know what women want. In other words, don't f*** a female, because if she doesn't hand you a detailed invoice for payment of services as a self-employed whore, you'd by gosh better love her and marry her. Women made unhappy send men who are careless to Hell. It's all payback.
The only way out of Hell is to pick yourself up by your own bootstraps. Because in Hell, everybody is selfish.

I agree with your ideas of heaven and hell. Can you imagine the shock I felt when I learned that the concept of hell as we know it did develop in medieval times. It helped a corrupt church become rich and powerful. Translations always cause problems since in many instances, one word could literally change the meaning of a whole book. To avoid being confused, I think of God's presence as Heaven. Being away from Him is what I consider Hell. World religions have the right idea but are too caught up in their own laws and dogma's. I have to admit though, Having a Heaven and a Hell makes for good movies and great material for stories.
