all but impossible? i don't know about that. i'm in the nitty-gritty and i'm actually finding it quite fun!! Deuteronomy 30:14 sums it up. G-d says to the nation that just received the Torah, "...it is very close to you - in your mouth and in your heart. therefore:
you can do it!"

Many Christians are now finally recognizing their Jewish roots (Romans 11 for one is a KEY scripture RE God's love of the Jew)... it's possible to be a Christian and keep the law. Love God, love yourself and others is what Jesus said... that sums it all up. Getting down to ALL the nitty gritty is all but binding if impossible.

I will be gland to do that, Wannabe. I'm in no hurry. I'm paid up until
February so don't take longer than that in case I should decide not to renew. lol

thanks, fabulous. it's all a journey, and it's not about being perfect all at once. but i look back at my sorry excuse for obedience then and realize that my words meant very little when they weren't connected to my actions.

I'm curious, Wannabe. Does this mean that you have turned
your back on the New Testament and now discount it?

You are not a disgrace, wannabejew. The writings of the spirit are full of fascination, and also emotion. Your interest in them can only be a compliment to God.
