Sounds like an idea
I'm not sure that the dream have anything to do with the schizophrenia, mainly because I have been having them since I was 12 years old. I think I will put a post just about them.

That makes sense! You mentioned in your first post about dreams.
How are they strange?  Maybe you can devote a post just on that subject?

Ahh yes
That is a very frustrating thing. But you have to be careful, because it's possible that I might start to create my own hallucinations by believing I'm going to have them. Sort of a self fulfilling prophecy type deal. That’s why the whole not sure about visual hallucinations thing is one of the most frustrating. Because I don’t know if they were hallucinations or if they were real and I think they’re hallucinations because I make myself. Arg.

How interesting. I would get frustrated because I would wonder what's
real and what's not in the sounds I hear...glad you feel good talking about it.

Symptoms
Yes, I have been keeping a journal whenever I can think about it. My symptoms don't really suggest "Chronic Schizophrenia" where they occur so often my ability to live is disrupted. There is that chance that I'll develop chronic symptoms, but I try not to think about that. Usually I would hear something a few times a day or so, like someone just calling out for me from the back of the room. Or sometimes I would hear someone walk by talking, as if on a cell phone, then turn to see no one there. Sometimes it would happen once a day, sometimes none, sometimes much more. I'm starting to see a cut back in occurrences, however, since I started on medication. Hopefully as my dosage increases, the occurrences will continue to decrease. And of course I don't mind you hanging out and reading, I like talking about this, it helps me realize that it's real but it'll be alright.

Very interesting!
You know, sometimes it takes years for them to actually figure out a sub type, so be patient.  Either way, not fitting into a category can be a good thing for all people! It means you're cool!

Another fascinating post! How often do the symptoms occur? Have you
been asked to keep a journal of your perceptions (hearing things and seeing delusions)?  Also, is there a history of this in your family?  Hope you don't mind me hanging out and reading this.  Like I said, psychology is one of my favorite fields.
