Free Trade Isn't Free-We All Pay For It!
All I know is that since the enactment of NAFTA and its idiot cousin GATT, prices for overseas goods have skyrocketed. A plastic model kit from Korea that once cost $5.00 is now $25.00 because of tariffs imposed on imports under NAFTA and GATT. That's fine for me, I'm an adult with a paycheck, but what about the kid who was saving up his allowance for that kit? He's the one who pays for these outrageous price hikes in the end. Fair trade and free trade are
not synonymous. It's time to scrap NAFTA and all of its incestuously-bred siblings.

free trade never free, never fair
msaries, the crisis in international relations is already upon us. I am not saying that liberalizing modern trading relationships is not a good thing. However the FTAA and NAFTA were not about that. quite the opposite in point of fact. Those agreements were nothing more than conduits for the devestation of aboriginal peoples and a furtherence of the exsisting hegemony. Thanks for reading! Raven Darke
