Hey, SlyCy,

if you aren't totally correct, you are close.  I remember reading that one of our wars with Mexico was a huge construct to further our imperialist goals; Vietnam was a must endeavour to halt the spread of communism and hinder the fall of dominoes; and, hmm, the Spanish-American War began over what may amount to saboteurs not from Cuba or Spain, but Americans and wealthy landowners wishing to embroil the U.S. in war with Spain for their own selfish reasons.

But then, SlyCy, most wars are fought for the worst reasons, so why should this one be any different?  Because we've come a long way intellectually as a species?

This is the most ridiculous undertaking in the military
history of the US.    We have absolutely no business to be there and cannot win.
