Ahhhh, such a dilemma. Personally I wouldn't want to be in heaven with half the assholes that say they are the ones going.  Too bad the bigoted, blind, and overly overtly religious fanatics wouldn't worry more about trying to make this crazy world a more heavenly and decent place to live in while we are all still living, rather than worrying so much about, and wasting so much resources on, trying to show the world how "holy" they are and that they are "heaven-bound" when they're dead. I can't imagine sitting through the heavenly sermons for infinity, or praising God for that long either, no matter how great a guy he is. Actually I can't figure out why God needs all this praising and hosanna-ing to the highest anyways. Why's he need all these atta-boys and pats on the back telling him how great he is. He's God for God's sake! He should be above all this sycophant-ish ass kissing stuff . What I really love is as he is God, he's gonna know which of these phonies are truly phony, and they won't get in heaven anyways. Ah, to be a fly on the wall near the gates of heaven. Just think of the drama that will be going on there on Judgement Day! Hahahahahahaha! What a show that'll be.

My religion's better than your religion. You aren't going to heaven. Nyeh nah nee nah nah! Like a bunch of freaking children.

westwind,
It doesn't seem to me that you are in danger of going any place bad.  For as long as you remain logical, thoughtful of others, and provide entertainment for your peers, you will most likely be rewarded with something good, whether or not Jesus is there.

Luke 13
Seems Jesus had a thing with the pride of those who judged others as sinners. Their judgements kept them blind to those who brought wisdome and warning of things that kept them from God--a prophet of God does not have to come from within the faith, but he or she who can enlighten for goodness sake. Amen
I agree with Airala. If you accept Jesus and have a relationship with God you do not have to belong to any group from A to Z.

Anyone who has a relationship with God seems like a safe bet to me...
