This is incredible; you offering tax information to bloggers.  I am a bookkeeper and have a private, home based business.  I don't do income taxes, but of course prepare the books for a dozen clients.  I appreciate finding you here.  Thank you.

Your suggestion to build future overhead costs into start-up pricing of goods and services is a good one. For those instances when the new business owner feels she *must* charge low prices in order to get any customers or clients at all, I sometimes suggest giving coupons that state the Regular Price and the Special Discount Price, valid for a limited amount of time. I also remind clients that if they make their prices too low, potential customers or clients may stay away because they think products or services that cheap must be inferior.
