there is no doubt in my mind that you are correct. Having a bunch of relatives having fought in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the first Gulf War, I feel honored to just be in their company, no matter how much or how little they did while in uniform. They are symbolic of what makes us Americans, what makes us strong, what makes us persevere.

I agree, the one incontrevertible fact about the wars past and present, is that the men and women who fought in them deserve our deepest respect and support.
