Like I said, this was many moons ago. I appreciate your comment. I also enjoy reading many of your Bloggs. Your life, as a police officer must be a real trip. The corporate world is so boring!

Cypress, I can only imagine how painful divorce must be!
I am 38, hetero, with no children, and I have never even been engaged.  Once I lived with a man for 3 months, though.  I guess I have chosen a path of solitude...it is safer, and loneliness is easier to deal with than pain!  I cherish my friends and try to make that enough, even though I know God designed us to know a Greater Love.  Who really finds it, though?  One in a million, maybe?

UNICORN,

Like I said, this was many years ago. I remember the councilor giving the both of us roll-playing exercises to do. I could see at the time they were beneficial. Too bad only one of us wanted to do them.

that's good that you are aware, many are not. :-)

UNICORN - I have almost made it around the block a time or two. Your words are ones to live by. I trust my knowledge to see who is working with me, and who is just watching the meter run.

speaking as a professional, WE don't resolve anything, we get our victi....I mean clients to find the solutions within themselves--the client is the one who does the work, we are merely there as facilitators. If you ever go to a professional therapist, counselor, shrink, or Pastor who ever says; "here, let ME fix YOU", run like the dickens the opposite direction!
