I sympathize with the fundie freaks, because on one level they are right to think as they do. But you are right as well. We are like blind men touching small parts of an elephant and arguing about what the whole thing looks like.

actually Christ is
Christos ( anointed one) which is the Greek tranlation of the hebrew word
messiah which means
Christ is referring to a person.

Great post! I like the statement that Christ is a concept. It's similar to my statement about Christ not being an individual but a part of "God", a part of the ALL. I think that it is pretty apparent in what Yeshua/Jesus said that this is the case.

We learn best from Jesus himself...
John 14:12-21
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
