Go to A Sad Farewell

- Go to Dear Christa,
I go through that too,
one of the new kittens we got is the spitting image of Taz when she was a kitten. It's hard not to miss the ones that are gone, when you have a daily reminder.

Oh Spifire!
I wish. Cry inside every time that I look at Kelly (my new partner). She looks just like a younger version of Christa. Of course I won't let Kelly know that.

No, canine. You wouldn't have looked silly.
Everyone cries...even men! But my point was is that you have gotten to a place within your grief that you can now enjoy the happy memories without always feeling the sadness part of the loss.

these posts are so moving.
They brought up the memories of my cat; Taz, who recently died. They also remind me of my dog Sheba, who is now 13 and not doing so good and I know the time will come when I have to say "see you later" to her. Thanks for sharing with us. Thanks for the tears of memories.

I'm glad it made you smile and not cry.
I guess that shows that you have evolved in your grief.
