Gone With the Wind? The cousins who got married in the past were perfectly normal. I think it's just a matter of a society gone immoral and permissive, not a medical reason.

Some of these comments are downright scary. First cousins marrying? There are medical reasons for prohibiting that. Respect and respectfully disagreeing? What's wrong with that? You can respect a person, and not agree with them. So you explain in a reasonable and logical way your disagreement. That is being respectful. Being disrespectful would be shouting patent cliches at them, drowning out their voices by sheer noise, ridiculing the person for their beliefs.
We are all God's creatures and deserve respect for that alone. Other respect must come because we have earned or merit it on an individual basis.

that is what they are all about, deception. I have never said in any of my post that everyone should be like me. However, Westwend and his supporting cast, are quick to label me then it's time to bash the Christian from all sides. I realize and expect this treatment. It is in the Bible. I am interested in the fact that all you have to do on here is mention God's name and they are on you like a pack of wolves. It bothers them for some reason. Isn't that interesting? I know why.
Like I said, I am happy that Westwend is an Episcopalian. GREAT! But it is all about taking back like you said. I have no desire for anything additional. I am tired of losing what we had and have now. You see, their real desire is to completely eliminate religion. Coming from an Episcopalian, I am astonished! I have not ever been to an Episcopal service but Westwend's views make me wonder what kind of service it is.

I agree with you 100%. There is no way what you have said here could be disagreed with, except through deception. When all these people are asking we hurt no one's feelings they have the most hurtful titles for Christians in their blog titles. Christians are not taking America we are taking it back....

You know... I begin to think that the real reason Christianity is being attacked and taken away from our people is that the people of Israel were founded upon a marriage between cousins. It is no longer legal to marry one's cousin in the USA, which I think should not be a law, as cousins are much more likely to genuinely love and respect each other for a lifetime union. With so many people being forced not to marry closer to their loved ones, the love of Christianity might be destroyed at the hands of the countries own laws, at the root of a family's fabric. For this reason also, we may have people wanting other forms of marriage that others have decided must be illegal, and the government with it's modern changes have created a huge system of unrest and a great deal of persecution of innocent people.

I Have No...
problem with Westwend being an Episcopalian. I can't understand his views against Christianity, even though he claims to be a member of a church. Sounds like Kerry, " I respect the church, I respect the Bishops but I respectfully disagree." I can't imagine when judgement day comes, a person would stand before God and say, "I respect you but I respectfully disagree!" HA! That is laughable. Now that is one twisted thought process going on there, pal.
What makes me mad is the fact that the anti-God crowd is constantly attacking and taking away God from this nation. Westwend seems to think I want religion to take over the world. No, I am sick and tired of Christianity being attacked and taken away from this country. There is a big difference Westwend and you obviously do not understand me. I think there is too much liberalism on BLOGIT, how's that. The simple fact of the name of this blog proves you want everything your way.

You are very vocal and very passionate about your views. I like that in a person. Have you ever lived in any other country? Have you ever been associated with any religion. These questions are really none of my business. When I am interested in a persons writing I like to know something about them. We are what or how we write I guess, or are we? Thank you, J
