Yes, Kelli. I read that.
Maybe they were referring to the emotion/mood of the writing. Feeling detached from your life. On the outside looking in. I know that it stirred up sad emotions in me, maybe you hit a nerve with them. Or maybe they didn't get the figurative aspect of it and thought you were literally referring to a window. I dunno. Some people just don't get figurative writing. Don't worry too much about it, though. As long as they don't write something abusive, I'd say just let it roll off or block them if you feel so inclined.
