You posed a good question for jackieo, about why not show what a true Christian is?
Legalism kills. Jesus preached against legalism. I heard somewhere that "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven." I like that. Like in all society, there are wacko Chrisitans, hypoccrites, etc. They reflect society. I have known stepford wife Christians, hypocrites, (theres always room for one more), legalistic to the point of ridiculous Christians, and stable loving down to earth real Christians. Jesus accepts us as we are, but people don't. I often criitize my fellow Christians too out of frustration. I hate that they give Christians a bad name. The media loves to prey on the sickos, the wackos, and the nut balls. A true Christian simply believes that Jesus died for their own sins, that he accepts them as they are, crapola and all, and that we have hope in Heaven. We certainly do not have all the answers, the older I get, the more questions and doubt I have. But without the Lord, what hope do we have in this frightful world?
