We are happy to help and can offer alternate suggestions if we have them and if we know that our first suggestion hasn't helped.

If you've already tried the following then please see the other suggestion below. Normally, extra lines after a post or comment are generally the result of formatting issues.  To remove formatting from your text, follow these directions:

1. Highlight the text. Choose Copy from the Edit menu.
2. Open Notepad. Notepad is in the Start menu, under Programs > Accessories.
3. Choose Paste from the Edit menu. The text will be pasted without formatting.
4. Highlight the text in Notepad. Choose Copy from the Edit menu.
5. Now, you can paste the text without formatting into the "Add post" or "Add comment" page.

Another explanation for the extra space on your comments is that a third-party program that you have installed such as the one that allows you to add a variety of emoticoms (such as smiley faces) may be causing this problem. You will need to uninstall all such programs and restart your computer and see if that helps.

As for adding photos to your blogs, you should be able to add photos as long as the photos you're linking to are hosted on a website that allows you to use that site as the host for photos included on your Blogit blogs.

If you're using version 6.0 or later of Internet Explorer for Windows, you'll see a word processor-style toolbar on your Write a New Post page. Note that if you are using Windows and don't see a toolbar, you can download the latest version of Internet Explorer for free. This toolbar includes an "Insert Picture" icon that you can use to insert a photo into your blog as long as it is hosted on a website that allows you to link to those photos from another website.

Most paid photo hosting services allow you to do that as do the new Blogit subscription plans that include photo hosting. Adding photos is now extremely easy with Blogit Silver and Blogit Gold.

Thank you.
