Jems, I'm sorry about Momi. I'm also a bit sorry you didn't get to
kill that man. Oops, did I actually write that? Hmmmm...yes. I think I did. Anyway, after being in the vet med field for almost 15 years now, I'd say I've probably met about TWO agressive Pits...AT the animal hospital...not on the streets. I have been bit and have dealt with more Chihuahuas, Min Pins, Chows, and Pomeranians than any other breeds. ANY dog can be agressive (many are agressive because their parents were) and many more who are because of the way they are raised. It sickens me. Pits are very sweet, loyal dogs and I'm sorry for your loss. Especially the way you lost her.

Pit Bulls are
without a doubt the most misunderstood creatures on the planet. They are NOT born mean, that is a fallacy.  Pete from Our Gang (Spanky, Alfalfa, etc) was a pit bull. They are one of the loyalist, most friendly, and loving breeds of dogs.

Jemmie,

I am so in your camp, thanks for writing about the pit bull.  It is to be the topic of a future opinion blog of mine.  I have Adrienne.  The has never even growled at anyone.  I take out in public all the time to help inform and educate the masses.  She is soo sweet, she has turned many opinions here in my little neck of the woods.  If you want to see a picture of her, go to my life according to Alf blog and scroll down, I posted it a couple days ago.  Thanks again
