i hope you don't live near the coast
because if you do, you might have to move
check out national geographic's recent issues -- one on global warming and one on louisiana wetlands.
sea levels are rising.
if you want to breathe polluted aire -- watch as New Orleans and then NYC slowly sink into the ocean and have more skin cancer due to decreased ozone layer -- then oppose environmental reform.

How silly of me. Of course the "life-giving industrial technology that only Capitalism can provide" is our only hope for s sustainable futur. I mean, look at the record so far. Severe weather events multiplying. Climate changing faster than anyone predicted. Background rate of extinction around 120,000 times higher than for the rest of history. More toxic chemicals in the average human body now than at any time in history (and we barely know the long-term effects of any one of them, let alone how they might act as a cocktail).
I could go on, but I'm clearly wasting by breathe.
