See…that’s what I am saying…

No wonder this world is so confused…the curse of Babel is real and still valid today…we can’t even understand each other when we speak the same language…let alone when a translator is thrown into the mix…

Entertaining post…

Witty Woman
I owe you an apology. I hope you will accept it and forgive my tacky words. I left you a comment that was inconsiderate. I do understand where you are coming from in your attitude about Christians, particularly American Christians. However, I believe you are trying to play poker without chips. It is not my place to judge you. Christians are not supposed to have negative dialogue with unbelievers that is God's job not mine. I am only supposed to speak into the life of another believer if I see them do what both of us know to be against the teaching.  We do translations word for word on most things in Hebrew and Greek because we have concordances. A word in Hebrew can mean several different things, there is also a discernment and revolation that one gets through having a relationship with God, not just reading the Word.  I wrote a blog on 'Those Judgmental Christians that explains scripturaly that we are not to complain about your difference of opinion. Every person who calls themselves a Christian is not living that way, that is the job of the Christian to hold one another accountable. Rest assured God will not allow the Holy Writ to be debased through translation, it was breathed into being. Justsouno

Unfortunately, I couldn't translate from Hebrew because I wasn't able to find a translator online where I could enter any Hebrew text and (b) I wouldn't have been able to write any original text in Hebrew as I don't know the language.  All I was trying to do was prove a point; those who choose to disregard that are simply evading the issue, as all christians are apt to do.  It is of no consequence, the facts speak for themselves.

Some of you are so absolutely brilliant I hardly see how you bear remaining on this planet where there are no other brilliant people capable of fully appreciating your eloquent blasphemy.

Silly-Witty-Woman!

You forgot to translate to the first language, Hebrew, which undoubtedly would be just as silly.  We need a good laugh once in a while!

Peace,

Freerain
