We've done this the last 3 nights now and it has REALLY changed our whole demeanor.  I have enough news all day long - we need to focus on our families at night.   I also realize how horrible my kids table manners have become.  We always let them take their plates to the coffee table to eat and watch TV... NO MORE.  My son smacks and my daughter can't sit still.  It's crazy and luckily they are still young enough to learn!  Thanks for the comment.

Hear! Hear!
The whole campaign has become a campain! It seems to be all about who can make us scareder - terrorists, flu epidemics, they might as well quote that section of the Bible that predicts all the plagues and pestilences! I refuse to believe that we are in as much danger as they claim. Check out WCPE, the Classical Music Station, for glorious relief from too much news.
