Lovely sentiment. Read what you WANT, absolutely.

And thanks for the note you left. :)

Hi
So far with me you are one for one.  I have only read you once and I enjoyed it.  So I shall read you again.

MiaElla, I think
your blogs are great.  They are witty, amusing and intelligent.  I'm not a butt kisser.  I think some people don't know how to take a compliment just like some people don't know how to take an insult.  That's their problem. It's not my job to inform people of their shortcomings, and it's not their job to inform me of mine. Either way, I hope you feel better and don't leave- please

Mia, I always reciprocate with the clicks, though sometimes I am lazy with

the comments....

I love what you have to say!

As my beau likes to tell me when I get to pouting..."Don't trip over that lip!"

Mia
I was reading a blog outside of here who can't believe we pay to play these "you read me and I'll read you games". I wouldn't stay around if that's all this place was to me.  I haven't earned enough to play for three months yet, and I've been here nearly nine. hmmmm

You probably feel better after getting this off your chest. Yes? Re loyalty. I would hate the idea of someone reading me purely out of loyalty over some ancient comment or some posts in the past but I love it if they are loyal because they believe they usually find something of interest. The cullture of obligation is a bit heavy here. You don't HAVE to read anyone, although there are one or two I never miss even if I don't comment. You and me have a couple of the same favorites.

iSiSeyeS,

Well, if I'm ever in IN or MI I'll look you up.

Oh, and if you and the kids ever wanted to visit florida...when it's not hurricane season...lol...you guys are welcome to stay at my house, and if not...I do have connections to some pretty sweet condos on the beach.

I know you comment when you can. Besides, I'd rather you have time to write than read, because we want to know what's going on with you.

MiaElla,

It's so hard when you write something on this network that seem to disappear on the fastest wind.  The feeling is...HUH?  Did I not just put my best effort into writing that piece.  Did I not take the time to comment on others?

You are indeed my kindred sister, and I wish we lived closer.  As an only child, it is especially nice to have someone to connect with.

It's ironic that it takes a vanity search to get comments, but sometimes it's the only way we have to advertise.  As for not commenting on you as much as I should...I hope you understand that this has been an incredibly difficult and demanding time in my life - my hardest yet.  I'll be back soon and commenting like there's no tomorrow :)

xoxoxoxo sweetie

wiley is right but we also know
the sickness of some bloggers -- there's meanness here too -- i think of my dear friend quirkyalone who felt emotionally raped by one callous blogger who thought it funny to mock her tale of her brother's history.  there's lots of love, too, and that is what counts, but i see the thorns in the bushes too. tg

Tailon,
I know. It's hard when you put time and energy into something and get nothing in return. I've learned my lesson. My favorite readers are those that teach me something, those are the ones that I should be reading, I just fell into the trap of what was popular. I followed the crowd. Just gotta figure out how to march to my own beat...Thank you for the kind words...you are so right.

Blogit is a wonderful place to play once you realize that you won't be able to build sandcastles with everyone. Only after finding the suitable "mates" will it live up to expectations.

Just fyi, I don't often read this blog but I do read your poetry and fiction quite a lot.   I love The Lion's Den And Eve's Garden.   I don't comment often on your poetry because you don't normally respond, but I do read you.   Hope your day gets better.

It's always better to read those that you find enjoyable.

You can get caught up in a click clique and make Blogit a chore, when it's supposed to be fun! Keep writing.

Hey...

I read you all the time, dear. I read a lot of things, but I have found that I don't comment much. It's already been said 3 or 400 times by someone else, or what I have to say would probably offend. So I don't. I don't get read much, if at all, and that's cool. That's why I turned that blog into a photo blog. Nobody was reading it. But then popularity wasn't the reason I signed on in the first place. I'm thinking of killing off my poetry blog, but I still think I need it for me to dump.

So don't move to Costa Rica and keep posting! I do find you very entertaining and I would miss that!  -- So would LittleBit!

Thank you for the mention.....................I read you all the time, but I don't always have a comment that doesn't sound generic.  I think the same thing, I post and it's surrounded by read posts but I 'm not.  It's frustrating.  BTW that painting you posted, I have it on my desktop
