and transcending christianity means understanding the mythology and rising above the literal expression given as an absolute--there are no absolutes, except the nature of God and we cannot yet know it, for that is the mystery of God. Seeing the beauty of humanity and striving to live within that beauty is the glory of God--why else would a supreme being care for our existence enough to make a way for us to dwell in God's presence for eternity?

Guess that's why I have in my library other books such as
The Lost Books of the Bible and the Forgotten Books of Eden, The Essene Gospels, the Dead Sea Scrolls and etc. I don't buy into everything I read in these books, but they are informative and very enlightening.
