Thanks, Word. I try to stay mindful. It's harder than it seems.
I appreciate your feedback.

Thought provoking post and so very true....
It's never worth it to be right at the expense of a relationship.

Rachel, I understand. Really. More than you know.
My mother has said and done things to me that you wouldn't believe, but I honor her still. Did you read my previous post Some Bloggers Should Think About Starting Over? It made me ask questions of people that I would not have thought about otherwise and I saw a few things in a different way. Anyway, it's not too late. They are still here. You can still hear their voices. You can still make them smile. Just think, the stuff that really annoys you about them now, you would give anything to see one day.

Wow.
You sort of hit a tender spot with me. As I've blogged about, I am not in contact with my parents. Of course, I wonder all the time if they are alright, and such. But, because of their lack of respect for my life, there is no room. I know it's not about being right, but this has still touched me. And, gives me hope that maybe they'll find some way to see me as a person so we can have contact before it's too late.

Hello Inns!
I imagine that is not true, that you are never right. Your posts reflect differently.

Maybe what happens is that the squeaky will gets the oil, as is often the case. Such is life. Thanks for your feedback.

I am rarely right...
so I always
feel the need to be right. However, because I am usually wrong I try not to voice my point of view too often. Keeps me out of trouble!

Persist in their ignorance? Wow, T. That's very big of you!

LOL! Well anyway, you make some good points as usual. Such is life. A difference of beliefs, values and opinions. That's what makes the world go round. Am I right?
Thanks for your feedback.

Redlunar, thank you.
Connecting spirit to spirit. That is a great thought.

While I must admit I have the need to be right, I don't have the need to prove it. I'll state my "right" perspective, but if another rejects it, fine. I'm not going to argue with them. I'll just let them persist in their ignorance. Not trying to force the issue keeps the insignificant events insignificant. It also makes it far easier to admit when I am wrong because there's less crow to eat.

the need to be right separates us from connecting spirit to spirit, it builds a wall between souls. What are we left with? I agree with your posting, nicely said.
