You are correct, sir. Although designed to allow for far greater input systems, our election process has degenerated into a two-party personality and ritualistic tradition-bound voting contest, much the same as the Ford and Chevy debate and the Pepsi and Coke debate strangles competition in their respected areas.

They both did an adequate job. The debates would be more interesting if more candidates were allowed to participate, the two major parties have a strangehold on the debate commision.
