My hubby is 22 also...
I grew up in a military family, and we are beginning the potty training... I will be back, it is nice to find someone I have a lot in common with :)

Never think it's because he's stayed home!!
I've been a SAHM for 6-1/2 years (since my oldest daughter was born) and I can tell you that sometimes second children just don't pick things up as easily as first children do.
My second daughter is very smart, but she's not up to where my oldest was at her age. She's just more distacted because she has an older sister to play with. There is usually more time to spend with the first child since it's just you and them but the second one comes along and life gets more hectic trying to split your time between them.
I don't feel that it has detrimentally effected my youngest (who just turned 4) at all. You'll drive yourself nuts if you try to compare your children to each other. Just know they are both unique individuals and don't try to squeeze them into the same mold.
