Thomas,
That's a valid thought for sure, but then maybe it depends on the person I am guessing. It's all about our perceptions of the world, I think. I am beginning to realize just how differently we all filter things in depending on where we have come from and how it shapes our preceptions. Even here on Blogit, I realize that what we write isn't necessarily misunderstood because it wasn't clear to the reader, but because we all get things differently from it depending on the experiences that we have branded in our own minds. (At least that's my
perception of it, anyways

). Thanks for your feedback. Appreciated as always.

Living in the grey world can be difficult and usually you must choose with black or white. When I've chosen, it was usually to save myself.

Aardvark--
Then I'm guessing that can only mean one thing... a lot of people have borderline personality disorder...
Thanks for your great feedback and for reading me.

Splitting people and things into good and bad is a hallmark of borderline personality disorder. Life and it's choices are often shades of gray, despite the fact that most of us would like it to be more clear cut.

Benjamin. Thank you. That is exactly it, I believe.
Compassion is the element that mixes the black and white into gray... or grey.

Hmmm, HolyG. I believe we are all guilty of that to some degree.
We are only human after all, we all are only human.
Anyway you seem pretty fair and balanced to me, but hey-- that's just my perception, right?

Hey Talion! Thanks for commenting and for expanding on my post.
I really didn't have a measure of temperment or of first impressions in mind when I wrote this post. I was thinking more along the lines of a difference in beliefs, values and opinions--- but I definitely see your point and angle. Thanks for your feedback, which is always appreciated.

It really depends on the situation and the person. I erally try to see the whole truth, and all perspectives. But I am guilty of stubbornly seeing in black and white....

Wow, Kelli. That statement could begin a whole new topic for a post.
Just because something is beyond your comprehension doesn't make it wrong. Right?

Tremacc, I figure that everyone has a rational explanation for the things
that they do, even if it is beyond my comprehension.

If someone does something I don't agree with or approve of, they aren't necessarily a bad person in my books.
