Don't worry...
Bush has plenty of support in plenty of churches.  I was attending a local Baptist church here and the pastor said he was going to vote "for the Bush of his choice, and you should all feel free to do the same".  Hopefully, there aren't too many people in this country who are so impressed by the fact someone is speaking from the pulpit that they won't take time to make up their own minds about who to vote for.

Just for your information
The watergate incident happened before the election which Nixon won by a landslide. It was barely mentioned in the newspapers. It didn't blow up until after the election. This happened during a time when Nixon was hated by most liberals including the "liberal media."
