Faith As A Fetish
Sadly, West, some (ahem) freedom-loving Americans view anything that challenges their narrow definition of the world as an assault launched by pure evil. Even within their own superstitious circles they fight over what they regard as "truth" like a troop of monkeys fighting over an object of fetishism.
I find it all rather comical to witness.
