Probably because he is a Saudi. They have an exclusivity thing going with the US regarding themselves. Remember the Report on Saudi involvement with al-Qaida and 9/11? Remember its release and the fact that you may have been able to put together a full paragraph from what was not blackened out in 40-50 pages of material? The Saudis are in the terrorism game up to their necks. Their oil makes them damn near untouchable, that and the sensitivity of Mecca.
And you're correct about stocks and Bush. Hell, he's been lying all along and there are still several million people out there that simply refuse to believe he lies (I guess it's because of his born-again status). Then there are those who believe he lies and misleads, but simply don't care as long as a Democrat doesn't get elected. In this day and age, open-mindedness in choosing a political candidate should be a must.

How come Martha Stewart didn't
get off that easy? How come GW did the same as Martha Stewart and people voted for him to be President? I don't trust the government can agree on the best way to peel a potato, nevermind stop terrorists. Great post!
