I think maybe it means you are not seeing something clearly.......or there is something going on in your life that you are "closing your eyes" to......There is something that you don't want to confront......chances are that it has been in your life a long time if it is a recurring dream, or that this is one of your stronger defense mechanisms so you don't even notice it. What is happening in your life at the moment that you do not want to look at and see for what it really is?
