the only thing Cheney proved

is that there are now 3 men who have shown themselves to be "presidential":   Kerry, Cheney and Edwards.  The fourth man, Bush, has not.  As a matter of fact, it is clear that our biggest danger is that Cheney might die and Bush would actually then BE in charge.  And to think, Cheney has a weak heart.

But seriously,  you have confused tough talk with truth and substance (why do Republicans do that?...  they just LOVE that tough-man growl).   Cheney has had extremely poor judgment all along....  stating over and over that we would be greeted as "liberators" in Iraq.  I have to wonder now if he even believed it -- or was he just saying it because that was what would get them their war?  Considering his arrogance, I have to believe the latter.  And then lying about 9/11 being connected to Iraq -- and then lying that he lied.

Growling is not enough to make me feel trusting of a man who would be leading the free world.  He has to show some integrity...   and as the films on TV have adequately demonstrated, he had met Edwards before and sat right next to him.  And as for his weekly Tuesday visits to the Senate -- they were for Cheney attend the Republican strategy meetings - which as you know - Edwards is not a Republican and wouldn't, of course be there!.  (The VP does not really preside over the Senate unless there is a tie vote to be broken by his vote.)   So, Cheney was willing to lie again in order to "score" --

Think of this handy metaphor:  The Marlboro Man was the world's most popular brand for awhile, too...  tough cowboy under the open sky, rugged and independent.  But finally we understood that he was selling death and personal destruction.  The myth of the Marlboro Man lives in the Bush Administration.  It is a sham.

Wake up!

CORRECT...
CHENEY kicked the Breck -boys butt. The liberals are pissed. Evangeline is blind to the dirty-deceptive tactics of democrats just like she was to Clinton's lies for 8 years. All democrats lie constantly without even realizing it because they "feel" lying is nothing and is "normal." For them it is and that is why they can't stand losing so badly that it drives them insane!

The Debate was a tie

All the "points" Cheney is admired for making are really just nasty speculations, really nasty speculations, which Edwards wasn't ready for because the Kerry-Edwards ticket doesn't fight dirty.

Cheney criticizes Kerry's voting record--well, specifically what was "wrong" about those 30 years of votes?

Just a few moments ago I watched Cheney specifically justify Iraq, in 2003, with the Al Qaeda link for his argument.  There Cheney is on tape. Last night Cheney lied, once again, and claimed he never made the very statement I just watched on tape.
